It’s Your Day Recreation Programs for Seniors 55+ (October Schedule)

Join us at your local recreation centre and explore the new 55+ programs just for you – It’s Your Day! Funded in partnership with the Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund, 55+ It’s Your Day provides older adult opportunities to participate in physical movement programs, fitness classes, and educational workshops. Four locations will host a dedicated 55+ Day with a variety of drop-in and registered program options, once a week for approximately one year.

Who
For patrons ages 55+

Why
Our goal is to ensure older adults can recreate in a variety of environments while building social connections with fellow patrons.

How
Registered programs will be running on a 4-week basis and will allow a portion of the patrons to participate on a drop-in first come, first serve basis. Patrons can access drop-in programs through the use of the following memberships:

Fitness programs: 1 hr/$2.10  30 min/$1.05 or,
Senior Participation Pass $43.70/ year or,
Senior Centre Membership $33.85/year. Visit your local Senior Centre to purchase.
First visit is free!
Recreation Fee Assistance options are available to patrons or visit your local recreation centre for more information.
