How to Make your Rental Unit Age Friendly!

As our population ages, many residents living in apartments may require additional support for their health and safety. The Age Friendly Hamilton Home Adaptations Task Force has been working to develop a series of brochures to help residents and property owners learn about how to install adaptations at little or no cost to the tenant!  Please check out our NEW information brochures to learn more!

These Age Friendly Hamilton brochures were developed in partnership by the City of Hamilton Public Health, City of Hamilton Seniors Advisory Committee, McMaster University, Rehabilitation Sciences, St. Joseph’s Home Care, Hamilton Council on Aging & Certified Rental Building Program. Special Thanks to Task Force Members: Linda Strobl, Jeanne Mayo, Lori Letts & Shamiso Matinyarare for producing these publications.
