Tackling Ageism

The Education and Advocacy Committee works within the mission and mandate of the Hamilton Council on Aging to educate, advocate and provide voices of older adults to advance positive aging. It identifies timely issues of relevance to local older adults and tackles anti-ageism through various activities including a monthly opinion editorial to the Hamilton Spectator and fact sheets.
